Tutoring- KS2 and SATs specialist

Recommended Posts

Hello,

My name is Dennis and I have been a qualified primary school teacher and English specialist for 6 years. Primarily, I have taught year 6 for most of my career, but I have experience teaching in all KS2 year groups. In addition to that, I have tutored many different children during this time. I have an extensive understanding of the year 6 curriculum and the SATs examinations. Due to this, I have successfully supported many children through these assessments. I have experience supporting children through the 11+, too. I am a friendly and relatable young man, with a zest for education and meeting the needs of all children. Moreover, I recognise the importance of communicating with clarity and contextualising learning so that children are able to access learning effectively.

I understand that this has been a challenging few months for everyone, but I feel that I have the passion to energise young learners- even for those really reluctant children. I am happy to offer an initial lesson for ?20, so that you are able to gauge whether you would like to continue with the tutoring service. Thereafter, the lessons will cost ?30 per hour- this can be online or in person. This is a very competitive rate, but I assure you that the service is outstanding. I am able to offer testimonials on request.

In the meantime, please feel free to message me or send me a message via my number.

Thanks,

Dennis

    • And I'm afraid very loud fireworks are rather a thing, the noise being necessary to scare away evil things at New Year.
    • In my experience of public sector funding, there is always room for improvement. That the council are custodians of our money, and are expected to use it wisely and efficiently seems to be lost on them. Just because no council has good financial acumen does not mean we should not insist on it, or should just accept all annual increases without question.
    • Could be, Sue. I believe the Year of the Horse officially starts tonight on 17 Feb. So, although no official displays to mark the date that I am aware of, I suspect there will be unofficial displays until end of coming weekend, sadly.
    • But what are you basing that judgement on? Vibes? where exactly and under what council is money being spent wisely? what about parties which promise to cut waste, come to power and find out there is no waste?
