Great surveyor needed

I'm looking for a thorough and dependable surveyor for a report on our Victorian house in Camberwell, plus potentially a few others along the same street. We're facing an off-the-scale-expensive Major Works programme by the council, who are the freeholders, based on a very arbitrary survey, so want to employ our own surveyor.

Any advice or recommendations hugely appreciated!

  House sale was completed yesterday. Yes we were 'gazundered' by £75,000. Able to look the buyer in the eye when he came to collect the keys. He clearly didn't want to discuss any further, But I expressed my view to him that whilst what he did was not illegal it was immoral. What else can we do?? Apart from a law change
