Drxyster
I am expecting a delivery later today, driveway is empty, however a large white furniture van is totally blocking the drive. There is not any activity occurring, either loading or unloading the van. It has been like this for over three hours. Who should I contact, any suggestions appreciated. Spartacus
Sadly if your driveway is empty, neither the police or council can do anything unless there is a yellow line across your drive. If you had a car up your drive, the van could be moved or ticketed as it is blocking you in but the rules are not the same for stopping you getting into your own drive. Is there a company name or anything on the van that could give you contact details ?In the short term put a note on the windscreen asking them to move as the drive is needed, if they are nearby and see it they may move the van Sorry Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/260004-driveway-blocked/#findComment-1441029 Share on other sites
