REQUIRED: FULL TIME NANNY IN EAST DULWICH

Start date: Immediate

I am a single parent returning to work in the City and I?m looking for a nanny to look after my 2 year old son.

My son has cerebral palsy, which affects his arms and legs, and he is visually impaired. He has difficulties with sitting, crawling, standing, feeding himself and speaking. He is not medically complex, is not on any medications and is orally fed (although cannot yet feed himself). Full guidance will be given on handling, feeding and playing from both myself and his therapists.

My son is a very happy, sociable, interactive little boy with a wicked personality (he?s quite a charmer). The candidate must be caring, nurturing, patient, motivated, willing to assist with his daily exercises and to take him to his therapies and occasional appointments. Additional typical responsibilities will include;

Preparing meals and snacks

Organising appropriate activities both inside and out of the home

Assisting me with coordinating his therapy appointments

Child?s laundry

Tidy up play areas

Requirements;

Background in childcare/education

Non smoker

Fluent in English

Pet lover (house cat)

Full DBS

Two references

Hours; Mon-Fri 8am to 6pm

    • It's unprofessional, and possibly illegal.  There are procedures to complain.
    • Occasionally when this happens, the estate agent is complicit. Had this happen to our neighbour and we later found that the house was bought by the sister of the estate agent at the reduced price. The agent is in an advantageous position as he/she is aware of the seller's circumstances and occasionally one will go rogue to do a favour for a relative/friend.
    • Hello, I have a new boxed (unwanted gift) Tefal Secure 5 that you could have.  The model is P2500731 and is a few years old, just been sitting in a cupboard, but it hasn’t even been unpacked.  I think a new version is about £70 so you can have it for £25?  If interested, please let me know and I can drop off to you if you like as we are on Brixton Hill but pass through ED most days.  Best wishes, Alison
    • If you have any please let me know thanks Angelina
