Stupid question about beds!

Sorry - feeling a bit thick but HELP. Looking at bunkeds for the small snowboarders....thought I'd found a good thing with a 2'6 short set - so thinner and shorter than a standard single. But I can't find any bedding (duvet/covers etc) that is smaller than a standard single but bigger than a cot bed? Am I not looking properly? What do people do?

Use flat sheets? and regular single duvets?

Yep that was my default option - just thought a full single duvet would be enormous on a 170cm length mattress?

Single duvets are a pain on regular sz bunk beds if you want to make the bed. They are too big and don't tuck in because of the surrounds. I always ended up folding it in half and plonking it in the middle of the bed (well on the odd day I bother to tackle it).

Ikea! Look up 'gulliver' beds. I have loads of toddler bed sized sheets and quilts covers to fit them. Website will say dimensions but sounds similar.

Ikea do a 160cm fitted sheet but all their childrens duvet covers full size!! I think....

Hmm, I am too stingy to buy an interim duvet- my boys had cot duvets on toddler bed unil they were nearly four, and now have full sized single duvets, which are fine.
