I tried to adopt a cat from Celia Hammond years ago. I didn't ask for a cute little kitten just any cat. I wanted to do the right thing and give a loving home to a cat. I was turned down - I lived near a road etc etc . So I went out and brought a kitten who is now about 16 years old and very loved. As long as good people find it impossible to adopt they will end up going out to buy a cat. This in turn encourages people to allow their pets to reproduce and adds to the never ending cycle of too many cats needing a good home! I did wonder who would be deemed good enough to re-home a cat. Reading the other comments has made me feel a bit better about being turned down. And we all love our Kitty 🐈💞 🐈 💞🐈 💞
