Hi Mich,

We had something similar that was noticed at the 8 month check, the health visitor and the subsequent check with the GP both thought the testicles hadn't descended. So we were referred to a consultant as Kings, and he said that they were actually retractable, which meant that he didn't need the operation (a very relieved mother). We were just told to have a check up with our GP annually to check this was still the case. So hopefully your little boy won't need the operation either.

Hope that helps.

    • Hello. My two kids and myself have both used micro scooters for years now (oldest is 10). They are long lasting and you can get spare wheels and parts which is good so I'd recommend them. Ebay will have lots including refurbished ones. We had the bigger size 3 wheel only briefly, the maxi, used it about 1-2 years for scooting to school before child wanted 2 wheels. He's been speedy on 2 wheels since at least age 7. So you're at a tricky age to pick for.  I guess think about her ability and height.
