mich
Has anyone been through this with there babies? We've just been told my 10month old has retractile testicles and are currently awaiting a call from our GP to find out if he needs to have surgery :-( Very anxious mother...... jennifaah
Hi Mich,We had something similar that was noticed at the 8 month check, the health visitor and the subsequent check with the GP both thought the testicles hadn't descended. So we were referred to a consultant as Kings, and he said that they were actually retractable, which meant that he didn't need the operation (a very relieved mother). We were just told to have a check up with our GP annually to check this was still the case. So hopefully your little boy won't need the operation either. Hope that helps.
