House Rental prices from Truepenny website via Prime Location

Recommended Posts

I saw a 2 bed house in Jennings Rd. advertised for more than 7k a month and a 3 bed in Crystal Palace Rd for over 12k a month - are these prices for real?

Edited to say they can't be as I just checked the actual website and it appears Prime Location inserted a 1 in front of the 2 for the Crystal Palace Rd. house.

There are still lots of extremely high SE22 rental prices on Prime Location website - not sure how they could make such a massive mistake on the prices.

Since housing benefit went to a limit based on a market average, there's a good financial reason for making mistakes that might affect the averages in an upwards direction. Without control of the whole market such mistakes would have to be unfeasibly substantial.

I'm not saying that's the case here, just that there's a lot of money at stake and although I don't believe the majority of landlords, lettings agents, surveyors, estate agents and wide persons would dream of bending the odd rule in the hope of a quick buck, I do believe in the Easter Bunny's Magic Basket.

    • Revealing of what, exactly? I resurrected this thread, after a year, to highlight the foolishness of the OP’s op. And how posturing would be sagacity is quickly undermined by events, dear boy, events. The thread is about Mandelson. I knew he was a wrong ‘un all along, we all did; the Epstein shit just proves it. In reality, Kinnock, Blair, Brown, Starmer et all knew as well but accepted it, because they found him useful. As did a large proportion of the 2024 intake of Labour MPs who were personally vetted and approved by Mandelson.
    • I used Aria recently to replace the basin waste for my bathroom sink. He was super friendly, communicative and helpful - including changing the washer on the new replacement I bought to ensure longevity. Would highly recommend.
    • I'm so sorry to hear Bean hasn't returned home. It hasn't been a particularly good day for weather, so I do hope she's just sheltering nearby until the rain settles down. Are there any renovations/construction sites nearby? In the meantime, notify your street & surrounding area (many have Whatsapp groups) Where are you located? Hopefully it doesn't come to this, but just in case, Dox will print & deliver 50 free missing posters https://www.doxdirect.com/help/free-missing-pet-posters/ Try calling for her this evening & early hours of the morning when street & foot traffic is at its lowest (in case she's found herself out front). Often times, when it comes to unusual disappearances, it's neighbouring renovations, general construction work, fireworks or weather that sends them into hiding. They can end up finding themselves in unfamiliar places. Is Bean microchipped? Our team carry scanners on our daily routes & will keep a look out for her. I hope you are reunited with Bean soon.
