Recommendations for a few days in a rural retreat

Want to go away for a few days and looking for an Airbnb somewhere. Possibly South Wales. Any suggestions for anywhere no further than there please? Woods and trees and views required. That sort of thing.

Gowers nice for beaches and walks (but not sure how busy it is these days as I see pictures of three cliffs etc. everywhere).

Area around Llangorse very beautiful - horse riding, sailing, walks etc. or just enjoy the views.

Abergavenny is very nice, with some good walking in the hills around it. Monmouth also an option.

Booked a place in Wales. Wrong place unfortunately. Any recommendations for coastal places in England please? Within 3 or 4 hours drive from ED.

AM, you could head over to IOW. Quite nice there this time of year on the south Wight.

90 - 120mins from London to ferry. 45mins on ferry. few mins drive to destination on IOW.

Not Covid, KK. Plenty of Airbnb's elsewhere, and actually when I changed the parameters I found a couple of places on IoW. However, for a short break the ferry seems too expensive for my liking.

Not South Wales but currently enjoying a glorious stay in Orford, Suffolk in a nice Airbnb.

I haven't been back in 8 years now.
