Elvis From Nunhead 1st Voice Coaching Lesson with Alice Western

Since way back after some of Aaron's early lockdown fundraisers for The Sally Army here in Nunhead (to date a whopping ?3305 raised to help fund meals for the vulnerable in UK London SE15 - that is over 3,500 meals so far), I had thought Aaron could benefit from some professional voice coaching.

Well better late than never, finally came up trumps ( NOT THAT ONE! ) when the lovely Alice Western responded to a recent community shout out.

Aaron's first lesson went really well and spent some time on one of his Elvis faves Suspicious Minds, the improvement was quite noticeable.

Alice you are a superb coach with a lovely personality, the feedback from Aaron has been terrific, Thank you!

Maria ( El Vermut ) , Toby ( Ex Bambuni ), Polis from the SA and myself have signed this super talent up for eight 1hr weekly sessions with option to extend.

Big thank you to The Green Community Centre for offering the facility free of charge.

(5 Nunhead Green, Nunhead, SE15 3QQ).

It is the first time since opening that a professional voice coach has used the venue, and has been given a high five to offer coaching here in the future - Alice can also offer private home coaching.

    • Callout for help from any local experts here. Looking to find out more about the history of the property on the corner of Whateley Road and Ulverscroft road (with the green glazed bricks). Now a residential property, i'm told it was a bottle shop in days gone (the house was built around 1900) by and i'd like to learn more about the history of the business that was once here - name, photos, anything at all really! Seems to be very little from open source research so i'm hoping anyone with history in the area can provide any insight!  Starting here before i contact Southwark Archives or similar orgs to get any information and pictures (any advice here also would be welcome). Thank you
