attempted break in (Tarbert Road - 26 Oct 2012)

Hi, i just wanted to mentioned that there was an attempted break-in on Tarbert Road on friday evening. it happened between 5 - 10pm, they managed to open my front room window, which is on the first floor but thanks to my brave dog Buster they didn't enter my flat. i've informed the police who have been great and have spoken to a couple of neighbours. one mentioned a couple of odd looking men in the road around this time carrying ladders which at first glance looked like they were window cleaners but she said they didn't have any buckets or clothes with them which was odd. maybe this has nothing to do with this attempted break-in but i just thought it's worth a mention

Did the police check for prints where the guys might have touched something, the door, windows etc, if the guys get caught somewhere down the line, it all comes together, and means more jail time for them.
