DulwichFox
I'm from the Old School. Leaving the Pub at 10:00 and going for a meal... Curry or Sit down Kebab. whatever. Now that is no longer possible. Pubs are open ALL day and can make a living. Also serving food. Most restaurants rely on evening trade. These new rules will do so much damage to our restaurants. In my Early days many Pubs closed at 10:30 (and in the afternoon. 3:00 - 5.30) We went for a Ruby Sunday afternoon. At one time in the 70's I often went for an afternoon curry and another in the evening. Our Restaurant cannot survive 6 months of this new regulations. DulwichFoxETA. I stayed in tonight. I do not go out to get P***ed. so I'm not going to the pub early to do so. If I want to eat early, I will order a Delivery.. I have more than enough alcohol Beer.. Wine .. Spirits.. Liquors at home to accompany any food I order or indeed cook myself. I 'WILL' miss the pub but really it will not be the same. I like standing at the Bar but being able to move around chatting to different people.
