Floor Sanding

Hi I'd like to recommend this company for floor sanding www.floorsanderrental.co.uk - I've used them to hire machines before and got a handyman to do the floor, as they couldn't fit it in within the timescale I needed, but I realised it was much cheaper to get the company to do it as all the chemicals/sanding belts etc are included in their price per sq meter.. I think it's actually almost halved the cost - even though it seemed more expensive initially - as my handyman last time used so much of the sale or return products that the cost rose considerably.

Anyway this week their guy came round to do our living room and the hallway and was really friendly and polite and did a great job filling, sanding and lacquering in two days. It looks really great, and he also stained the parquet flooring too. The 1930's wood floor hadn't been sanded before and came up great! They are not in East Dulwich, they used to be in Forest Hill and are now towards Catford - but they delivered the hired sander along with the hoover thing that makes it a dust free experience - I didn't get any of the problems with dust that people report when sanding floors as they have this system - well worth it.

I don't normally recommend on the forum, hence having to make a new login to post this as my old login/password no longer seems to work, but I contacted them yesterday to say how pleased I was and they asked me if I'd post a good review - I'm very happy to do this :o)

Hi Claire thanks for the glowing recommendation. I'd just like to add that if any new customers hire our professional, dustfree floor sanding machines and operate them themselves they will obviously save the 3rd party labour charge to operate them which can be a great saving.
