lost wedding ring

Did a 30 minute walk from the Bellenden Road area to Goose Green and back. Somewhere my gold band fell off my finger.

Obviously of huge sentimental value

I know you've all been worrying about this, so thought you'd like to know I found it just before xmas - 14 months after losing it :-)

No, it was in a rarely-used drawer. It must have slipped of my finger when I was getting something out all those months ago. I'd totally given up on it. It was a magic moment to see it gleaming there.

Hubby lost his wedding ring several years ago and although retraced his steps could not find it. Insurance company said he could purchase a new one. He was working in a jewellers as a temp at the time and had chosen a ring and was waiting for the correct size to arrive. Went into our hall cupboard and pulled out the tool box and there was the ring, he must have caught it on on the the screwdrivers and it slipped off. Rang the insurance company to report it found and cancelled the order.
