If you cannot make it, please cancel so that someone else can take the place. Even at the last minute it is worth cancelling.


Ride 1. Greenwich to Royal Docks. 10am to 13.30. Start/finish by Greenwich Foot Tunnel, next to Cutty Sark, SE10 9HT. Bill leading. Begin along the Thames path to Woolwich passing the O2 and the Thames Barrier. Cross on Ferry or foot tunnel to Redgrave Bridge over Royal Albert Dock, along north side continuing along Royal Victoria Dock. Over Lower Lee Crossing and round to Trinity Buoy Wharf for coffee stop. Finish past East India Dock Basin and round the east side of the Ise of Dogs to the Foot Tunnel back to Cutty Sark. 24km (15 miles) and almost all flat. If in good shape at Island Gardens, could extend to Tower Bridge and back along the south side of the Thames. Bring a face mask for the Woolwich crossing and the coffee break.

Ride 2. Peckham Round the Parks Ride. 10am to 12 noon. Peckham Square start/finish (Next to Peckham Library and Peckham Pulse Leisure Centre, SE15 5RY). Bruce leading. Easy-paced 2 hour ride with lots to see. Ride anticlockwise. Visit Burgess Park, Myatts Fields, Elam St Open Space, Ruskin Park, Dulwich Park, Peckham Rye Park. 55% off road path, 40 % quiet streets, just 6% busy road. About 9 miles and flat. Ride 3. Canada Water to London Eye.


10am to 12 noon. Start/finish in Deal Porter Square, opposite Canada Water Station. Usual easy-paced ride on mostly quiet streets and paths. Outward route following Nat Route 4, the Thames Path, passing Tower Bridge and Tate Modern. Return through Waterloo station, down the Cut, into Union Street then down to Great Suffolk Street. Pick up Q1 and follow until peeling off onto LCN 22 to Southwark Park and back to Canada Water. Please check back nearer date for more information. Philippa leading.     • Between Herne Hill and North Dulwich gives you good options for transport. You have the line into London Bridge, trains to Victoria and the Thameslink into City Thameslink. Plus it's not too far from Brixton tube. 
    • Wow - will do as you say - just find it extraordinary one needs to post something so trivial as this on forum - each to their own. Been a%member for a long time and know the-forum well - bought sold, given things way, had hubs and offered advice… 
    • You do know that this post is the reason that forums exist? So that people can ask for help, advice etc.  I'm not sure what "...daughter of mothers"  means but if you mean friends, not everyone has friends, or is confident enough to ask other mums at the school. Oh and you it's nothing to do with your age -  be kind, be helpful or if you can't, leave it to someone who can.
