Recommendation for Halfords in Brixton

Just a quick recommendation to anyone looking for a bike - I got mine delivered to the store in Brixton, the guys there were really efficient, lovely to deal with (well mannered and friendly but yet professional). They were super helpful and went through all the safety checks, tightened the saddle and fitted basket and bottle holder etc.

They have a great range online that you can collect from store, and all at a range of prices. I went for something cheap and cheerful as haven't ridden for years!

  Highly recommend Greg from Raven Plumbing & Heating, who I found through this forum. He was immediately responsive, great communication and super speedy arrival time, even on a bank holiday! He diagnosed and fixed a leak in record time. Extremely friendly and professional, made me feel much better about a stressful situation - will definitely work with him again!

  I think the thread title is a bit overdramatic there’s thousands of CICs in the UK. Hopefully, I don’t sound naive when I say that sometimes this sort of set up is a way to reach hard to reach people without the bureaucracy of more formal organisations.

  We have a place and a date for the first (and hopefully not the last) reborn ED Forum drinks! We have booked tables at The Palmerston on Wednesday 11 June at 7pm, in the area by the window on the left as you come in. It would be very helpful to us (and particularly the pub) if you could PM us in good time if you intend to come, so that we are not reserving tables which won't be used. We will provide labels and pens for those who would like to use them - definitely not compulsory! Any comments or queries, please post them here or PM me!
