I found a sharpener in an old cutlery canteen. Two wheels and you simply slide the knives through. I thought that it would be useless. I sharpen my own chisels with a guide and abrasive so I know a little about this. But 'good heavens' (insert profanities as appropriate) I can now slice tomatoes and worryingly through my finger nail. Happy to share more Sue, it took seconds. Have no issue in posting on a thread with someone touting for business. But you can sharpen my garden implements.

Looks like I managed to post this thread in the wrong group. Deleted the original message and reposted it over in the Business group. Cant seem to delete the whole thread.

At the moment I can only offer kitchen knife sharpening, but I've had a couple of requests now for secateurs so might be offering that service soon.

    • Hello All, I'm after sun hats for adults some with physical and learning disabilities who enjoy outdoor activities with an organisation I volunteer with. If you have any caps, bucket hats, or aussie type sun hats that you no longer use or would like to pass on., any condition...I know some very appreciative peeps who would be very grateful. If you need info then please DM me. Thanks for reading.
    • I had the same thing happen about a year ago... a couple of times in fact. I obviously react a lot less to posts than I used to because it has'nt happened again!
    • The link below has further information suggesting that the shop demolition and square redevelopment is funded separately from the station upgrades, so will go ahead:   https://www.ianvisits.co.uk/articles/peckham-rye-stations-step-free-upgrade-has-been-put-on-hold-82360/
    • Last time the toilets were out of operation in the station M&S we were all told to go out and up to Sainsbo! Certainly didn't close (I'm not suggesting that's the thing the library should do!)
