I am currently studying for a Masters in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy at the University of Roehampton. Part of my studies involves observing the very beginnings of human life.

I am therefore looking to observe a baby, in its home environment, for one hour each week, once lockdown restrictions have been lifted.

Aims of the observation:

? To follow the gradual development of the baby

? To understand how babies form relationships with members of their family

? To understand how babies? minds and thinking develop

What does the observation involve?

? 15-20 observations. One per week lasting an hour

? Beyond setting up a regular time slot, there are no obligations for the family

? Baby and parent (s) go about their usual lives during the observation

? All details remain confidential

Many parents find the process of having their baby observed to be rewarding.

If you are interested in taking part, or know someone who might, I would be so grateful to hear from you.

    • Ooh I'd LOVE a mini Lidl there.  So much more convienent for me than Camberwell or Sydenham.
    • There’s no record on southwark for planning permission for anything for that building.  But something will happen and that’s my prediction. It’s a waste of space at the moment big old pubs like that aren’t working anymore. They’re closing down all over the place. A shop on the ground floor, a mini Lidl perhaps and then flats above built in the style of the adjoining flats. Social housing would be the preference but DE will go for the money.
    • There's no record on Southwark's website of planning permission for demolition which according to this website is needed to demolish a pub.  Also for demolishing a building in an unsafe condition which could well be the case. https://www.planningportal.co.uk/permission/common-projects/demolition/planning-permission
