Micro scooter Rocket with 'fatties' wheels - any advice/experience of it please

Hello! My 5 year old son has used the mini maxi since before he was 3 and we are looking to upgrade. He refuses to consider the maxi micor as he is "too old for a 3 wheel scooter now"! He tried out the Rocket in John Lewis and really liked it but I wondered if anyone has any experience with actually using it please. The reviews on the web are sparse. I worry that it is a lot of money and if all of his friends move to a standard 2 wheel scooter then he might feel the odd one out! Any advice gratefully received please. Many thanks.
