King's College Hospital Charity - buy a virtual gift for a patient

Recommended Posts

Hello EDF locals!

I'm Charlotte, a Community Fundraiser for King's College Hospital Charity and local resident! I wanted to share with you a way you could make a huge difference to our patients this Christmas.

This year over 1,500 patients will spend Christmas in hospital. Some of these patients might not have friends and family to visit and celebrate this special day with them. We want to bring some holiday cheer and make sure that every patient will receive a present on Christmas Day. So this year we?re launching a special appeal - King?s Elf Service.

King?s Elf Service is a gift website with a special difference. It allows you to buy a virtual gift to support our work. You can select a gift to send on behalf of yourself, or a loved one. If sending on behalf of a loved one, they can also send an e-card to let them know they?ve made a real difference to a patient who may be spending a lonely Christmas in hospital without any visitors.

You can be safe in knowing you?ve bought a special gift which will make a huge difference to our patients. To view our range of virtual gifts please visit www.kingselfservice.co.uk

We hope you will join us in bringing ?elf? and happiness to our patients at Christmas.

With best wishes,

Charlotte and all at KCHC

    • When she was our MP before the boundaries changed, she was always really helpful and quick to reply to emails, so I'm very surprised to hear this. Have you tried other sources of help eg Citizens Advice Bureau or whatever union you were in when you were working (assuming you were in one)?

    • Another positive recommendation for Jan and co from Silver Fern We had removed trees that were uprooting the brick pavement. Jan and co successfully removed the roots under the brick pavement and levelled the driveway off using the original bricks. Work done to a high standard and no mess no fuss with the work. Quote was excellent value and work done in under 2 days. Neighbours have booked him for some other work. Really nice guy and friendly workers throughout. Toilet and tea breaks provided by the residents here. Thanks Jan and co.
