SpringTime
Police presence in the area today Saturday 21st Has anyone noticed an unusually large number of police vehicles patrolling the area today? I'm guessing it's not to do with dodgy fish, leaves on the pavement or missing cats either. Cars and vans all over the place - haven't seen a bobby on foot today (presumably because SE22 in particular is so well known for its dog-dirt) but tbh the number of vehicles in play seems to me like a firm and deliberate deterrent to something or someone. Just wondering if it's a PR operation, or is there something else more serious already happening... hope not! Nigello
Several young lads (no older than fourteen, I?d say) were put into a police van with their bikes (that had just been unlocked by them on instruction by officers) about an hour ago on Dunstan?s near the school. A police car was there before the van. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/270354-police-presence/#findComment-1469874 Share on other sites
Otto2
Also some kind of police thing going on on Ed Grove near Pizza Go Go late this afternoon. One police car, one van. Didn't see much else as I was cycling by and paying attention to traffic but they were there for a while as still there on my return journey.
