Police presence in the area today Saturday 21st

Has anyone noticed an unusually large number of police vehicles patrolling the area today? I'm guessing it's not to do with dodgy fish, leaves on the pavement or missing cats either. Cars and vans all over the place - haven't seen a bobby on foot today (presumably because SE22 in particular is so well known for its dog-dirt) but tbh the number of vehicles in play seems to me like a firm and deliberate deterrent to something or someone. Just wondering if it's a PR operation, or is there something else more serious already happening... hope not!

    • These have reduced over the years, are "perfect" lives Round Robins being replaced by "perfect" lives Instagram posts where we see all year round how people portray their perfect lives ?    The point of this thread is that for the last few years, due to issues at the mail offices, we had delays to post over Christmas. Not really been flagged as an issue this year but I am still betting on the odd card, posted well before Christmas, arriving late January.
