About 18 months old, works perfectly and no damage or scratches, we're only getting rid of it because we bought a sink which - as it turns out - has the tap mount recessed a long way back. And it's easier to replace a tap than a sink.

  Just a thought but after reading through these posts it looks like the OP is trying to do too much to the detriment of their own health. I’ve been there and done it with family members and wished I’d done it differently. Maybe just take the grandkids to the local park for a picnic?

  We’ve done all that - surprisingly few skips around at the mo (probably everyone is on holiday) hence this post!
