I popped into Capture in the Rye recently with my two children and was absolutely disgusted by the owners who were smoking drugs inside and out of the shop while my children an I were present!! I was considering signing my daughter up for piano lessons but if they do things like this around children while their parents are with them, it makes me wonder what they do while left unsupervised!

Another mum has also witness the same thing while she was in there so it's an ongoing issue. I am that annoyed and I do not think it Appropriate for shop owners to smoke drugs around their customers and their children. I recommend parents find other places to get a coffee unless you wish to subject your children to these conditions!!!

    • I have been reliably informed that it's not the same group.
    • my bet is it's the same group and no amount of talking to is going to make a difference.
    • Definitely not intended  to come across as "gleeful". Quite the opposite, because developments such as this will only encourage extreme right-wingers such as Reform. And heaven help us if they ever formed a government. It's incumbent on Labour to come up with an effective  policy to "smash the gangs" otherwise we are facing Farage and his gang further down the road.
    • It feels like it might be an extension of the summer water bombing spate. The sad thing is this could really put off some visiting the park. I really hope the council seriously consider putting some of their huge parking surplus to funding a serious and permanent warden and police presence in the park; it is needed.
