Just wanted to add another recommendation for James. He has done three jobs for me - some French doors, bespoke bookshelves and most recently a beautiful oak table and benches. He is friendly, polite, hardworking, and, of course most important, a very good carpenter. The table and benches have drawn admiration from visitors over Christmas, and cost far less than something of inferior quality would have been in a shop.

We have just had traditional built-in cupboards/ shelves put into our lounge and a small wardrobe built in bedroom. They were done by Nigel Eaton and he did a fantastic job! Not the cheapest quote we had but he was super reliable and fast and the resulting cupboards are lovely. Did a great job and I would highly recommend.
