Recommending excellent carpenter

Just wanted to add another recommendation for James. He has done three jobs for me - some French doors, bespoke bookshelves and most recently a beautiful oak table and benches. He is friendly, polite, hardworking, and, of course most important, a very good carpenter. The table and benches have drawn admiration from visitors over Christmas, and cost far less than something of inferior quality would have been in a shop.
We have just had traditional built-in cupboards/ shelves put into our lounge and a small wardrobe built in bedroom. They were done by Nigel Eaton and he did a fantastic job! Not the cheapest quote we had but he was super reliable and fast and the resulting cupboards are lovely. Did a great job and I would highly recommend. His website has lots of good examples of the work he does- just google nigel eaton cupboards. He can be contacted at [email protected] or on 020 8670 6128.

    • Just had three areas of damp expertly dealt with by JKA Damp proofing & Plastering. Each area had a different cause and Jonathan diagnosed and explained the problems comprehensively. The family firm then carried out all the necessary repairs having prepped each area meticulously. The work was done to the highest standard and then everything was cleared up beautifully. I would wholeheartedly recommend the firm if you have damp problems!
    • hi Tom I'd ask a teenager. I'd lend you mine but they are asleep.  Pop into a phone shop and ask for help with it. It's quite straightforward, but easier once you know.
    • I switched from one samsung phone to another Samsung phone about a couple of years or so ago. Now I may be misremembering but what I think I  did was to 1. Open a samsung account which gave me access to Samsung's cloud. 2. Uploaded what i wanted to transfer to new phone to the cloud. It gives a choice of which categories to upload. 3. Log in to samsung on new phone then download stuff from cloud onto new phone. I was very hesitant but I remember it was quite simple and straightforward, I surprised myself. I do keep all photos and documents on other clouds which means I can access the same file/photo from different devices, and agree with Sue about accessing emails. Good Luck!
