Sue
Sadly I think it's going to be cloudy, but assuming it miraculously clears, does anybody know where would be a good place to see the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction today?Visible 4.30 - 6pm at 15 degrees above the south west horizon.I'm kicking myself because apparently it was visible yesterday too and it was a clear sky ðŸ˜https://www.theguardian.com/science/2020/dec/18/jupiter-and-saturn-meet-in-closest-great-conjunction-since-1623?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Other Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/273070-where-to-see-the-jupitersaturn-conjunction-in-ed/ Share on other sites
alex_b
The only place in East Dulwich I can think of with a reasonable view to the South West is on the back part of One Tree Hill towards Honor Oak Park. IlonaM
The expert on the Today programme this morning said it will be low above the horizon - she suggested 2 finger widths (like whisky measure!). They will be visible over the next couple of weeks, slowly distancing from each other in the next few days or so.
