Charity Virtual Trivia Night - Thurs 21 Jan @ 7.30pm

Local charity Link Age Southwark are hosting a virtual trivia night on Thursday 21 January at 7.30pm via Zoom.


'From Angels to Lost Rivers?, host Stephen will be sharing weird and wonderful facts ? all to do with our South East London neighbourhood! This fascinating and eclectic illustrated talk will cover everything from angel appearances in Peckham and the tale of the Crossbones Graveyard, to the lost rivers flowing underneath our feet... and more!

    • I’m currently conducting exploratory research into menstrual health education in UK secondary schools and would really value the insight of PSHE leads, Heads of Year, or pastoral staff.    The research aims to understand:   How the menstrual cycle is currently taught within the RSHE framework Where schools feel confident — and where there may be gaps Whether students are taught and  asking questions around the full menstrual cycle, symptoms, wellbeing and conditions such as PMS/PMDD or endometriosis How schools support students in feeling empowered to understand their bodies and seek help appropriately Whether education around nutrition, lifestyle, and menstrual wellbeing is currently addressed   The long-term goal is to explore whether there is a need for additional, age-appropriate, medically informed support on the menstrual cycle.  I’m not selling a programme and there is no obligation beyond a 30 minute informal chat online (Unpaid). All conversations will be confidential and used only to inform the research.
