need pendant lights hanging in awkward place!!

Help!!

I am looking to hang two pendant lights in my kitchen underneath a large glass skylight in my side return. This has already been done by the builders who did the extension but I am not happy with their solution and think it could be done better.

It will require a problem-solving electrician who can also do a bit of plastering!

I have seen examples of the kind of thing I'm after so can provide a photographic reference.

Hoping someone out there (locally) can help.
