intexasatthe moment
The OP did say "We keep missing out on all the big sites " which makes me think they have tried rescue charities and I sympathise .We had 2 cats for over 19 years and were rejected immediately by Battersea .No idea why but maybe because we are in a first floor flat .Though as we explained there is cat flap access to our garden via a an extension roof .We are patiently waiting for Ceila Hammond but it seems to be taking weeks to even have registration acknowledged .We are not looking for a kitten and will take more than one cat .There don't seem to be many cats on offer ,many are reserved . I'm sure if you are after a kitten ,it's even harder . Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/275043-wanted-kitten/#findComment-1484127 Share on other sites

siousxiesue
I was in the same position, interested in an older, hard to rehome cat, or even an FIV positive puss.No takers after registering interest. In fact, I even had a friend of a friend who works in a shelter helping me look. But apart from sending various photos of cats available, for me to fall in love with, it was always a 'no' from the charity rehome staff. So frutrating!intexasatthe moment Wrote:-------------------------------------------------------> The OP did say "We keep missing out on all the big> sites " which makes me think they have tried> rescue charities and I sympathise .> > We had 2 cats for over 19 years and were rejected> immediately by Battersea .No idea why but maybe> because we are in a first floor flat .Though as we> explained there is cat flap access to our garden> via a an extension roof .> > We are patiently waiting for Ceila Hammond but it> seems to be taking weeks to even have registration> acknowledged .We are not looking for a kitten and> will take more than one cat .There don't seem to> be many cats on offer ,many are reserved . > > I'm sure if you are after a kitten ,it's even> harder .
