No.

And yet more proof of your bullying ...

But if people want even more proof, on the 6th Jan this year on the "we are indeed fortunate" thread, it was you who called me "Stupidcus" yet I've never resorted to calling you names

Maybe it's time people stood up and say "no more" when you belittle them and the forum can get back to a place of lively discussions, humour and fun again instead of the seething cesspit of rage that it often is now.

You're a real asset to this forum, aren't you?

(That was sarcastic, BTW)

Still trying to destroy my character rather than posting constructive comments ...

Sticks and stones ....

I never said state sponsored genocide, that's your comment and opinion ....

But if you want me to resort to your playground tactics

diable rouge is a BULLY

DR, there does seem to be quite prevalent attitude on here along the lines of "well if someone says something 'stupid' they're going to get 'called out' for it" (not your words (that I've seen), to be fair)....but is that really how we collectively want the vibe of this forum to be? SO people are hesitant to express a view? When people feel attacked for saying what they think, their inclination will be to 'dig in/double down'...whereas if they feel there is a decent two way street, then they may concede certain points and end up softening their view anyway.

And who is the arbiter of a 'stupid'? comment anyway? Perhaps trying to understand why someone has said something that you think is 'stupid' might be a more productive use of keystrokes?

That assumes that a poster is inclined to soften their view. I'm not sure that's the case with some posters.

If you look at the 'Deniers' thread I did exactly that and he double downed.

I understood what he said, and indeed kept saying.

Context is everything...

You do it as you would in html.

You will have to Google it as I can't work out a way to do it unless I do a screenshot of what I type.

I tried to do that by putting "close bracket" in the first command and "open bracket" in the second command, instead of the actual (well, the other way round) but that didn't work either!

Ah! I hadn't thought of doing it with spaces!

But I use b, not strong .

I think that was where I learned html what seems like zillions of years ago. Over a very intensive weekend.

Then I spent the next weekend learning CSS.

It was very useful at the time 😶

Looking back, this must have been about twenty years ago.

Putting together a website from scratch.

    • He did mention it's share of freehold, I’d be very cautious with that. It can turn into a nightmare if relationships with neighbours break down. My brother had a share of freehold in a flat in West Hampstead, and when he needed to sell, the neighbour refused to sign the transfer of the freehold. What followed was over two years of legal battles, spiralling costs and constant stress. He lost several potential buyers, and the whole sale fell through just as he got a job offer in another city. It was a complete disaster. The neighbour was stubborn and uncooperative, doing everything they could to delay the process. It ended in legal deadlock, and there was very little anyone could do without their cooperation. At that point, the TA6 form becomes the least of your worries; it’s the TR1 form that matters. Without the other freeholder’s signature on that, you’re stuck. After seeing what my brother went through, I’d never touch a share of freehold again. When things go wrong, they can go really wrong. If you have a share of freehold, you need a respectful and reasonable relationship with the others involved; otherwise, it can be costly, stressful and exhausting. Sounds like these neighbours can’t be reasoned with. There’s really no coming back from something like this unless they genuinely apologise and replace the trees and plants they ruined. One small consolation is that people who behave like this are usually miserable behind closed doors. If they were truly happy, they’d just get on with their lives instead of trying to make other people’s lives difficult. And the irony is, they’re being incredibly short-sighted. This kind of behaviour almost always backfires.
