Tutor Recommendation for 13+

Hi there,

I would like to recommend Betsy Rowland of Dulwich Tutor - we used her services to find a tutor to support our son in his preparation for the 13+ exam. She matched us up with a fantastic tutor who has been very supportive and encouraging on both Maths and English and had the experience to steer my son in preparing to sit his exams. Much of this has taken place through lockdown and so therefore on Zoom, however it has been a really positive and convenient experience. The tutor had well prepared, fun and structured lessons, he quickly identified the areas where my son needed support and made sure that the work was appropriated paced. He really built an effective rapport with my son and took the time to match the study style to suit him, this in turn helped with my sons confidence and attitude towards preparing himself.

Betsy facilitated all this and took the time to understand what my son needed and did a great job of finding a tutor for us. It's obvious that she is passionate about getting the best for the children she supports, thank you Betsy!

    • Of course! nice to have a mixed bag!
    • I would say that about one in four of our recent trips to Sainsburys Dog Kennel Hill have included a visit to customer services to get a refund for an item which, when self scanned has a higher cost than the shelf label price. I always take a photo of the shelf label. Never yet scanned an item that comes up with a lower cost than the label. I am sure that the shop must be breaking the law but I haven't tried to check or take the matter further as yet.
    • Yes. Hundreds of them, judging by the Photinias I see everywhere I go 🤮 I don't notice them until the horrid (imo) red leaves start appearing! Irrational, as I said. I can't bear privet either. I hate the smell of its flowers 🤮 Anyway, please go back to discussing fallen leaves. Sorry, admin. Other things have colour! Camellias have lovely flowers in the gloomy season!
    • Temi has just completed an awkward job covering up serious stains from a dilapidated valley roof (now renewed) She worked carefully and produced an excellent result - a pristine ceiling. Highly recommended.
