Carbon dioxide?CO2?is an essential part of the cycle of life.

Without a source of CO2, plants (Trees) will die off, and without plant life the earth's biological food chain would

be terminally broken.

Trees store CO2 and when they Die the CO2 is released into the atmosphere.

The Answer is MORE trees. But More Trees need More CO2.

Bit simplistic. CO2 levels were around 30% lower in pre industrial revolution times, but there was enough CO2 in the environment to sustain much higher levels of forest cover across the world. Planting more trees does not deplete CO2 to an extent that there isn't enough of it to sustain trees and forests (or plant life as a whole)

    • I’ve asked them where they get their bread from, or if they bake it, and they won’t answer. Which is disappointing
    • I’ve been ordering from Butter & Crust now for 5+ years and it’s a brilliant service. The bread is fantastic as are the selection of pastries, milk & butter. The apple juice is also incredible and you can change your subscription to what suits you - I opt for every other week ☺️  I have a voucher if anyone wants to try, you get £10 off your next order with: HANNAHM_2
    • Yes, thanks, that's true, the previous information on here might be out of date even if I could find it. I was hoping someone on here might have up to date info. I will phone them in the morning.  I had a previous thread on here about the Oxfam book shop but for various reasons I haven't been able to get stuff down there, and now I just want it out of the way.
    • Best to call them. What might have been the case last week may not be now. There's also Oxfam book shop in HH
