Tessa Jowell Centre: Reserve List ?

Does anyone know if the Tessa Jowell Centre has a reserve list for unused vaccine ? They do at the place on Rosendale Road and it seems the BMA recommend this to avoid wastage.

I imagine their Pfizer deliveries are now earmarked for second vaccinations, and AZ has a much longer shelf life. But it can't harm to ask.

I believe there is a reserve list but it's currently focused on offering key worker vaccinations so not one that everyone can ask to be put on.

That makes sense. I expect we all know of people who were in the right place at the right time and got a jab. I tried puppy dog eyes when at TJ Centre last week for another reason buy that didn't work. My reasons are pretty spurious!

Has anyone successfully managed to get on the reserve list at guys or TJS - or do you need to still be in the current groups?

Just go down and ask the jab receptionist whether you could be put on a reserve list, saying how long it would take you to get there, etc. I think having your NHS number may help - it's just a bit quicker and may dispose the person to you a bit better, you never know.
