Good quality laminate flooring - approx 20m2

I'm looking to sell the laminate in our living room as it's being replaced, but remains in good condition. It's Largo laminate, wide and long boards in a dark brown/greyish colour. It's the sort of laminate that's textured with the grain of the wood, so looks and feels good quality.

The total dimensions of the room are 5.78m x 4.09m, but that includes a bay window so the actual square metre area would be a little less than this, probably around 20m2 approx. Worth measuring precisely if you wanted it for a room of a similar size. It would comfortably cover a slightly smaller room.

The flooring is in good condition, there are a few small nicks here and there but these aren't really visible, plus if you're using it for a smaller room you could probably avoid the one or two boards with the nicks on. Will inculde the edging plus a couple of radiator rings. Can discuss if you'd also like the underlay, which is Accoustica sound proofing.

Buyer would need to arrange removal and we'd have to discuss dates - from our side it wouldn't be available for 3-4 weeks but wanted to post early to find a buyer.

Price wise, we will take sensible offers. We spent about ?2500 on it. Visits welcome to have a look, we're in Forest Hill.

    • Happy to name agent and do understand that there are procedures to complain. I believe that it starts with a complaint to the estate agent and then you can go to the ombudsman. I am very unhopeful that this will achieve anything as it will be hard to prove what the intention of the agent was.  Also I don't want to name the agent at this stage so as not to open up myself to any legal issues. However it is an agent in the Village whish has many branches across London
    • Naming the agent isn't going to help in this case, this is down to the morals (lack of) of the buyer. I think it's always best, esp in a buyer's market, to keep details such as 'you're keen/ need to sell' to one's self, otherwise you're just giving the buyer leverage to pull a stunt like this...
    • I have tickets for tomorrow.  I'm off to do a rain dance.
    • Please name the agent and the company.  So sorry this happened to you. You could also refuse to pay the commission.
