IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT....

PLEASE READ ON...


Today is national toast day - the kind that you eat!


With breakfast on your mind, and if you are in business, have you ever considered a Breakfast Business Club? If so how about meeting over breakfast and getting lots of business done before we even go off to work?


Interested? Well, I am a member of a business to business referral group that is keen to get to know you and make genuine referrals. Are you interested now?

It works because it has a tried an tested formula which we follow and it does, without question generate business.

It?s brilliant and it has now launched in Dulwich.


If you are keen to meet us on Thursday 4th March for breakfast (in your own home of course) and find out more then please send me an email, and I will send a personal invite to join us at this seriously good, business to business group. Hi I am part of this group too. We have been a start up group in Dulwich for a year. Generating business and growing the group. Now that we are of a sustainable size of members to survive we are having a launch event, letting Dulwich and surrounding areas know the go ot places for local businesses and to enrich the local communites. #keeoingbusiness local

For transparency I am a member of this chapter and hopefully I can answer your question...


BNI starts in an area as a core group and when it reaches a set number of members, it launches and becomes a chapter. The Dulwich core group has now reached the set number to launch and is about to become a chapter called Adventurers.


Why don?t you come along to out meeting on Thursday morning to find out more? I would be happy to send you an invite.


What industry are you in? I guess I should have asked that first!

      Rather than making this thread political could people just realise that to the best of our knowledge this individual is still out and about in our neighbourhood. please stay alert and hope he gets taken off of our streets sooner rather than after someone else gets hurt.

      We are currently de-cluttering so I regularly look at the “Wanted” section to see if someone is looking for something that I may wish to dispose of in the near future. I am amazed at the number of views for posts which appear not to have elicited a single response.  Some posts have zero responses despite recording between 1,000 and 2,000 views.  This far exceeds the number of views per individual item in the “For Sale” section.   Any suggestions?

      I think a lot depends on how you will deal with school drop offs and pickups in primary school. If you’re going to have a nanny to do that then great, but if you’ll be doing that yourself you’ll need to factor the home -> school -> station timings. Our son went state (Belham and Charter East) which with wrap around care made the timings manageable. I don’t know if the private primaries have busses, so maybe it’s not so bad… Commute wise it depends where in the city you work. Thameslink is great if you’re near St Paul’s or Farringdon. Southern to London Bridge and then tube or bus (though I hate changing to the Northern Line at rush hour at LB). Or even for some places Windrush to Lizzie line, district line or walk (when I go to Bishopsgate I tend to walk from Shoreditch High St).    Choosing  a station with options helps with any transport disruption so Herne Hill of the places you listed. If you’re looking further afield, towards Denmark Hill has good connections and you can walk/cycle down Greendale to get to Alleyn’s or JAGs. You might also consider some of the streets near Warwick Gardens on the Peckham side, the Villa is a well regarded pre-prep and Peckham Rye station is well connected.  Good luck.
