Small building/plastering job

Looking to reduce the width of an archway supporting an RSJ to widen the walkway in our bedroom.

There is significant allowance to reduce the supporting wall by around 8/10 inches leaving ample support (150mm) for the beam.

Would require removal of bricks, plaster and make good.

Pictures should illustrate the area to be removed.

Ideally, would like someone how can remove the bricks and plaster.

Any recs please share :)
