This is an unwanted gift worth ?110 that we failed to return to John Lewis in time.

We don?t like carbonated drinks but if you do, apparently this is the gadget for you!

Pick up 3 mins from East Dulwich station.

Here it is on the John Lewis site:

Official blurb:

SodaStream Spirit Sparkling Water Maker Mega Pack, 60L

The SodaStream Spirit turns tap water into sparkling water in seconds. You can also infuse sparkling water with natural fruit, as a healthy alternative to sugary, fizzy drinks and customise the amount of bubbles you prefer in your water.

This megapack includes two one-litre and a half-litre BPA-free PET carbonating bottles that have a lifespan of up to three years. The pack comes with a CO2 gas cylinder that makes up to 60 litres of sparkling water, saving you the effort, expense, waste and storage space involved with buying single-use bottles - up to thousands of bottles for the average household intake in a lifetime.

The Spirit's design features include a snap-lock bottle system for quicker, easier and more intuitive use.

    • You've got a point.  Thinking Leyland and Screwfix too but this felt different.
    • Moving into a new place and need both a wardrobe and a chest of drawers, ideally collection Friday. Thanks!
    • Lordship Lane has two dry cleaners, three pizza places and an Italian selling pizza, two burger places, three bakeries, two hardware (ish, I'm thinking AJ Farmer here), God knows how many coffee and charity shops, two Italians, three nail salons, five wine shops... Where was the abject outrage when Dynamic Vines opened up literally next door to Cave de Bruno? But I don't see his customers decamped next door - no, those stalwarts are still out in force every night.  In Roman times all businesses were clustered by product. It's what kept prices down. Same in any market you go to abroad, they're all selling the same things next to each other.  Why is everyone being so hard on this new place? It's called healthy competition - you can't curtail the expansion of your business on the basis you that might hurt someone else's.
    • I have a new fixation so any available, please let me know.  Thanks.
