OruSpaceLtd

Recommended Posts

Oru are looking for an individual who is truly passionate in all things wellness, wellbeing, mental and physical health. As part of our lifestyle workspace business, we have an on-site wellness studio that focuses on meditation, breathwork, yoga, pilates and sound healing. But this is not just the extent of what we mean by wellness. We are looking at this area in the broadest possible sense.

As a company, we aim to prioritise wellbeing, which is the state of being comfortable, healthy or happy and to do this we need to think differently. What does wellness and wellbeing truly mean and how can we provide this as part of our offering at Oru?

Do you have fresh ideas that could help us take our studio and ambitions to the next level?

Although studio management experience would be of course beneficial, we are not just looking for this.

What you could be doing:

- Management of day to day wellness programme, including instructors and scheduling

- Management of online class platforms

- Delivering a great client experience for every customer, every time

- Planning of wellness focused events

- Driving our wellness programme with fresh ideas

What we would love from our Wellness Manager:

- The ability to manage various stakeholders; colleagues, team members, instructors and customers

- Creative thinking ?outside of the box?

- Studio management experience desirable but not essential

And most importantly...

- We are looking for somebody who, ultimately, is passionate about health, fitness and wellbeing who can help drive our manifesto onto exciting new things.

As a team, we pride ourselves on moving fast and pushing ourselves into regularly testing new ideas. We like to push boundaries, in the pursuit of finding great new ideas.

If this sounds like you, then get in touch!

    • My bike (a ELOPS 120 step over classic from Decathlon) was stolen from outside The Belham this afternoon. I locked it up while I collected my kids, then the street was so busy that I left it there while I walked them home. Did a few other things at home, came back about 5.30pm and it was gone. Sharing just in case anyone sees it or finds it anywhere - it’s a few years old and the chain is a bit rusty/makes a clicking sound so maybe there’s a slight chance someone would dump it! Really annoying and just a reminder to be really careful with bikes. The picture shows the bike model from the Decathlon website.
    • Thanks, I didn't know that.  People are even more stupid than I thought then, if they are willing to wait hours in A&E for an ingrown toenail. I presume they don't get put at the front of the queue. Why isn't the 111 service more widely advertised? That puts you in touch with a doctor, who will advise on the phone or visit, and if necessary  you will be advised to go to A&E or they will arrange an ambulance to take you.
    • It hasn't devolved. It's in exactly the same state it was when it started.
    • A&E isn't allowed to turn people away at the triage stage, even people with hiccups and ingrown toenails... the kinds of ailments a GP might be able to advise against seeking emergency care for. https://www.england.nhs.uk/2025/12/aes-under-siege-from-hiccups-and-ingrowing-toenails/
