Hi. I have a ford fusion at the moment but I think going to need to upgrade to a bigger car due to having lots if kids with car seats in the car. (I nanny with my child) does any one drive one and know / think they are any good? Thanks lily. I'm looking at about a 07/08 model thanks lily

The zafira isn't wider so I think you might struggle to fit child's seats in the back if that's what you need

When its set for 7 seats you have almost no boot. You can't put child seats in the boot seats but possibly a booster but its not the safest I would say gor children under 8

I love the flexibility of mine and would recommend it but if you need to accommodate more than 2 in proper child seats I'd check it with your seats first

I have one. As the above poster said the back seat is narrow so you can only accomodate two car seats. The back row is hard to access if you are using the middle row with car seats strapped in and when the back seats are both up the boot is tiny.

However the good points is mine goes a long way on a tank of fuel. It's a reasonable car to drive and feels ok to park etc. So far it's been reliable.

It's a good car but having spent the last two and a half years posting a baby/toddler in via the boot and having to climb in myself to strap them in... I'm not sure it's the ideal car for young children

    • Ah sorry, it was comedy.
    • I have never used AI in my life. It's just notes from my forthcoming monograph on light industry in Dulwich and Camberwell 1879-1946 (dates chosen for obvious reasons).
    • Thank you, this really made me chuckle. It's like you met my brother as he would be the one taking more than his share. Plus the 'pikey' chutney is a winner. Unusual as in can't be identified??? Sadly I'm not the host otherwise I would definitely do that I regularly shop in the Cheese Block and am a fan. But as people have pointed out, there is no cheese shop that charges less based on bulk, so Aldi unusual cheeses may be what the familam receive! Yay, so I can get discounted mouse nibbled cheese still! Oooo, now I do love a Stinking Bishop. It actually offends my stepmum by it's stinkiness but luckily she is not one of the attendees at this particular gathering.  This is blooming genius. It's actually my partner who has the biggest issue with buying in plastic so I will have to hide the wrappers from him!
