I?m a textile artist & currently have a wordpress website which needs a fair bit of ?tidying up? as I set it up myself years ago after going on a short wordpress course & haven?t spent much time on it since.

I want to set up a shop on it - either using Shopify on my existing site or I?m open to swapping to Squarespace if that?s more user-friendly / easier.

If anyone is interested & would like a look at my current site please send me a DM & also if you could include your hourly rates that would be helpful. Thanks!

Motopress will help you to solve this very question! Go to their site, you will understand that they work with plugins, widgets, website themes. For example, look https://motopress.com/products/ciestra/. Effective collaboration will bring results to your business. Definitely.

Hi there - I know this is quite an old post so you may not need help anymore, but I'm a freelance web developer and can help you with this (I'd recommend squarespace over wordpress). My website is www.katewiltshire.com if you'd like to check out my work or get in touch :)

Did you find someone in the end or are you still looking? I've only recently joined the forum but have ~20 years of experience designing, building and maintaining websites, primarily on WordPress. I would have simply activated WooCommerce on your existing Wordpress site and configured/populated it accordingly. That would have been the cheapest route.

You can contact me if you have any further issues.

    • You might want to try the Peckham Facebook community group. I am located in East Dulwich & have 2 well-used scratchers: A large single post (ideal for an adult cat) & a small cat tree with 2 short posts (ideal for kittens) While the wear & tear is nowhere near as bad as the one shown in the link below, ideally the sisal should be replaced to get the best use out of it (& neutralise the scent of another cat) hence why I haven't donated these to a shelter. You may find this link helpful. https://thegreenmadhouse.com/diy/how-to-repair-your-cat-scratcher But you can just get a brand new one between £10-£30 on Amazon that'll last much longer. It all depends on what type of scratcher you're looking for; material, size, vertical or horizontal. You'll little lion will let you know by whether they're currently scratching down or up, like a mat or armchair for example. More than happy to send location & leave in front garden for pickup.
    • Would happily take it off your hands! Preferably in Peckham. Thanks 🙏🏻
    • I understand that, but I can't really grasp how it works in practice, but never mind 😵‍💫
    • It's local independent shops supporting one another.
