No parking Underhill Rd (towards Whately Rd) tomorrow, 18/1

Just seen the yellow cones and message spray painted on the road that there's to be no parking here tomorrow. Not much notice if people happen to be away for a day or two or live on an adjacent road but have parked there.

A few years ago, our car was picked up from Barry road by the council and 'dumped' on an adjacent road after very little warning about parking restrictions there. This resulted in damage to the body work and an increase in insurance premiums....still annoyed by that, as you can probably tell.

Anyway, the point of the post is to warn anyone who happens to be parked there to move your cars!

I saw a resurfacing vehicle hidden in Darrel Road. Could be that's what they are doing.

In fairness, courteous letters were addressed to very local residents in last few days, about the coming resurfacing works.

It's not really going to help the traffic snarl up we have ATM due to the big roadworks

Seemed to miss us out - we are very local!

Maybe it would have been better for the yellow parking restriction signs to have been up for a week or so in advance.
