Hi Stresshead, you could try Nerris on 07875 046 753. He is a carpenter with lots of recommendations on this site, and although I am not going ahead with my sliding door idea he was very friendly and thorough in explaining what the job would entail and cost.

He came recommended from a friend and did some shelves for us and the work is excellent. He did an oak wood finish and the entire shelving looks like real oak throughout, really impressive. Also he is reliable, punctual, and very friendly. He left everything supertidy and also is very good in painting over and decorating if necessary. We can highly recommend him
