Group Singing Lessons

Just Sing

Recommended Posts

Thank you for all your feedback, it's been really useful. I am now really excited to announce that the group Singing lessons will be starting on Wednesday the 30th in East Dulwich, Saturday 26th January, 1300-1400 in Crystal Palace, and Monday the 28th January, 1100-1200 in West Norwood.

Learn more about your voice in a fun, supportive way. The best thing about learning with others, is being able to watch and listen to each other, it also breaks down the inhibition of singing in front of people quickly. There will be some part-singing which improves listening skills too. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or have sung in choirs, as we will look at all aspects of singing starting with the basics of breathing and posture.

I really want as many people to benefit from this as possible so am keen to keep the cost down for you, as I do know that 1-1 lessons are expensive. So, I would be asking for a donation of ?10.00 for West Norwood and East Dulwich, and ?12.00 for Crystal Palace. It will be on a drop in basis, so after an initial chat on the phone, all you would need to do is text on the day and I will let you know if there is space. If it is popular, I will be starting more classes.

So, have a think and get back to me here via my website, or please feel free to phone me to find out more information. Look forward to hearing from you,

Abigail

    • It’s literal.  There are levels of earners. Those who don’t work and get benefits, those who work and get benefits, those who work but don’t get benefits. now, it’s an assumption that the last group are all wealthy, but that’s not the case. People in this last group are most exposed.. private rent, higher tax brackets, cost of living increases, yet they pay the most tax, and get no help.    So many questions: why are workers needing to be subsidised? Should companies pay more? Should there be private rent caps?  Why are people better off not working at all, or only working low hours to ensure they get benefits top ups?  How do you think people respond to this?     Do you realise that a number of companies are focussing on buying property? The banks, the supermarkets! Yet the government is squeezing individuals out of this equation. What do you think this will look like in the future? When foreign companies own the majority of UK property?
    • All depends on what you call reasonably priced!  Was it for Christmas Day?   Noticed that The Plough were advertising Christmas Lunches but did not see any prices listed.
    • A few weeks back, I booked an appointment by phone, not the app, which surely must be the same process as booking it at reception? Though it was for a longer appointment than usual, so maybe that was why?
