Au Pair needed

Recommended Posts

Looking for an au pair to help out with our 3 and 5 year olds starting asap in South London. The role would be getting them ready and dropping them to school/nursery in the morning and then school pickup and childcare in the afternoon (taking them to the park, playing at home, making them dinner.) Total 30-35 hours per week. Would work well for someone looking for fixed hours with free time in the day. Looking for someone fun and energetic with the kids who wants to stay for at least 6 months. Very light housework related to the children like washing the kids clothes, tidying their rooms, unloading the dishwasher etc. Ideally someone who is already in the UK with pre-settled status and familiar with London.

We live about 10 minutes walk from the tube. Double bedroom with own bathroom.

    • Thanks for your feedback - we always appreciate hearing from members about their experience. The pool temperature at JAGS Sports Club is maintained at 29oC, in line with industry guidelines for mixed-use pools.  This temperature has been designed to balance comfort for lane swimmers and families. Air temperature is also monitored regularly to ensure a comfortable environment for swimmers, spectators and staff. The shower Temperature Mixing Valves (TMVs) were changed in December to improve consistency, and we hope this has made a noticeable difference. If you would like to discuss your experience in more detail, please contact us directly at [email protected] or 020 8613 6500 and we'll be really happy to help.
    • One wonders if he would have defected if he had, ahem, held on to the leadership of Southwark and whether he felt that "Labour are no longer the vehicle for social justice" during his leadership election........my how quickly things change in the thoughts of a politician 😉 I think this sums things up quite nicely: A senior Southwark Labour spokesperson hit back: “Local residents can draw their own conclusions about Cllr McAsh’s swift move from Labour leadership hopeful to the Green Party, after he didn’t get his own way. While he’s thinking about his own career, Southwark Labour are delivering for residents.” One wonders if he will stand as a Green candidate in Goose Green.
    • No doubt if he determines to stand for a ward he will enlighten us - at least his track record is one of using this site to communicate (inter alia). I would suspect that (1) his personal views on traffic will have remained consistent but that (2) his views on local democracy and proper consultation will have as well.
    • Yes, but I want to know where he stands on all this stuff now. My feeling is it won't be any different from Labour?
