OK, so we finally know the results of the school that can't be mentioned. By the time I've written this it will probably be deleted anyway. Whats left to hide? We know the results are bad. Lets talk about it!

DfE claim that Ofsted would not have had the results when they inspected the school. This would explain the 'good' grading. According to Ofsted criteria a school can't be graded 'good' unless they are over the national average. So what happens next?

The school need to give some explanation as to what they think has caused the plummet (not a dip)! Current parents especially, but equally prospective parents need some reassurance that the school are aware of why the results are so poor, and what steps they are going to take for improvement. Reassuring parents with an official statement, rather than deleting threads on here and mumsnet would be a more effective use of the school's time.

    • Well thanks for enriching the conversation.  Would you chuck Fah - rage in too for his tax avoidance on his property?   I expect it was lead story on Jeremy Vine too.  Doesn't make it a story, just a bit more of BBC tabloid style sensationalism.  There are numerous real news stories in the UK and across the world.  And now, apt for Halloween, you have summoned up the ghost of Louisa. So for the third time, will you now eat humble pie?
