As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, Oru Space is running a 5-day Meditation Challenge, running from Monday 10th May. It?s just 15 minutes each day and free to login with the below details!

At 2pm each day, we will gather virtually for a 15 minute guided meditation lead by our Wellbeing Manager Lisa. In this challenge, the point of focus will be the breath.

You might be wondering why even bother? Meditation is the art of training the mind to focus on the present moment. In this practice, the breath offers you a moment of peace from the stories, worries and planning of the mind. You may experience this for just 10 seconds of your first meditation, but this gives you a taste that it exists and can grow with a continued meditation practice. We challenge you to stick with us for the 5 days and let's see what happens.

All through Zoom for anyone to join...

    • that's exactly what happened - Brickhouse were forced to close due to rent hike and then Gail's didn't move in until covid restrictions lifted and normality resumed. Gail's would have opened much sooner as they were lined up and able to offer the landlord much higher rents. Brickhouse was a local favourite
