Assorted Silk Off Cuts

12 assorted pieces of silk and shot silk most approx. 20 x 15 cms

Some have the odd mark on them or a tear in the fabric.

These pieces are all left over from projects and come from an assortment of fabrics.

Although the colour name may be the same it may not be from the same fabric roll or batch.

I have looked carefully at each piece and have tried my best to describe the pieces and any marks on them but it is possible the odd mark may have been missed. Where there are marks there is still plenty of useable fabric left on each length.

A gorgeous collection of silk which could be turned into some wonderful clothing or used for an art/craft project.

From a pet free and non smoking home.

    • DKH was two form entry, it is now one form entry to cope with the fact it was far more under subscribed than other schools in the area. They had actually combined year groups into single classes, 3/4 and 5/6.  When a school changes name, it’s usually because of a bad reputation perhaps the results.  The new name is dry with no history unlike its current name. It’s a very sketchy decision. It’s an expensive vanity project for someone.  What  will happen if the name change does not increase applications to the school?
    • @first mate I assume Alice made a mistake, as she removed her reaction.  I was wondering about park wardens. As I said, there was one there last night, who was incredibly helpful and proactive. As well as bringing me to the police, he caught up with a young guy on a bike who'd earlier been the victim of an attempted theft by these kids and linked him up with the police too. But I do wonder, as I've only very occasionally seen him riding around, how many they have and what hours they patrol. I've no doubt they'd be a strong deterrent if they had a better presence. They were nowhere to be seen the first time around.  Update: I've just found this: https://services.southwark.gov.uk/community-safety/community-wardens The guy in the photo at the bottom of the page was the lovely warden of last night and I've just now remembered him telling me he's based in Burgess Park. Anyway, there needs to be more of them, as I rarely see one in Peckham.
