The Rivoli only holds salsa events every few months. Regular events are held in Penge on a Monday evening, Bromley Civic Center on a Tuesday, Bromley in he United Services club on a Wednesday.

If you check this site it gives a complete weekly listing. http://www.londonsalsascene.co.uk/html/weeklies.html

If you fancy trying partner dancing, Ceroc is a good way in: http://www.ceroclondon.com/ there are classes all over London. I tend to go to Greenwich, Clapham or Pimlico.

Jive Party hold monthly events at the Rivoli: http://www.jiveparty.com/ I've never been, though I keep meaning to.

There are loads of other dances, West Coast Swing, tango (http://www.tangosouthlondon.co.uk/ is at the Constitutional Club in ED, so very handy - another one I go to sometimes), etc. Just google and you'll find something that suits you.

If you fancy trying a smorgasbord of dance styles and raising some money for a good cause (anti-trafficking) you could try this: http://movingthrutransitions.com/#/one-billion-rising/4571160756

There are drop in jive classes at the Prince Regent, Herne Hill on a Monday night from 8pm. Friendly lot and no need to book a set of classes in advance, you can always drop in when you feel like it. At only a fiver a class it is a bargain.

Same lot run a club night on the second Friday of each month at the Railway Tavern, Tulse Hill. The fun pub near the railway station in Tulse Hill. Night is free and starts at 8pm. Next club night is on the 8th of March.

    • Ahh, the traditional smell of the BT air fresher, hint of urine, used to stop people spending hours in the phone box and queues forming.  Although it is disgusting that people feel its their rights to treat a utility as their own personal litter bin and urinal. 😔
    • I don't support Farage but let's clear any misunderstanding ; tax avoidance is not a crime whilst tax evasion is.
