Taxis with Car Seats - Local or London based?

Hi there,

I was wondering whether anyone know of any taxi companies either locally or London based that have got car seats? I have seen some links saying that taxis are exempt from this law due to practical reasons however it is the responsibility of the driver to ensure that the child is properly restraint. Im flying in March and trying to travel as lightly as I possibly can (with a 5 month old baby).

Dulwich Cars have car seats - you need to say when you book that you need one. I have used them several times for airport drop off and pick up.

There was a thread about this before and some other local companies have car seats too...

Abbey Cars will keep your car seat for you if you book them for the return journey from the airport (if you ask nicely).

We always travel to the airport in a black cab - 2 adults and 3 kids, one in a buggy which you can just wheel in and restrain in the wheelchair space. Very easy.

Linkway cars just asked them and they will come with it. Also there rates are very good.

If you are doing long trips or airports, these guys are unbeatable.
